K J Somaiya Institute of Technology (KJSIT), Mumbai excelled with 2 accolades in the Competitions organized by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE during the “Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) Regional Meet” for Western Zone of the nation, held on February 06, 2024.
KJSIT – IIC ecosystem poster presented in the IIC Poster Competition was recognized as the “Best IIC Poster“ at the hands of Shri Dipan Sahu, Asst. Innovation Director, Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell & AICTE, Govt. of India. The poster design and presentation was led by Dr. Radhika Kotecha, KJSIT – IIC Convener.
In addition, the innovation “Train Crowd Management System” developed by the IT Department alumni Mr. Ritesh Kumar Pandey & Ms. Janhavi Obhan under the guidance of the faculty mentor Dr. Radhika Kotecha, Professor & Head – IT Department was conferred as the “Best Innovator” at the hands of Shri Dipan Sahu, Asst. Innovation Director, Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell & AICTE, Govt. of India. This innovation has already received 6 prizes at University, State, and National level, and is in plans for patented technology transfer.
