The Somaiya Alumni Reunion Series continued its inspiring journey across the U.S. — this time bringing the Somaiya spirit to Boston, Massachusetts. Hosted on Sunday, 23rd November 2025, the gathering brought together alumni from across the Greater Boston and New England area for an evening filled with conversation, connection, and the unmistakable sense of belonging that ties Somaiyans across continents.
Alumni shared stories of their journeys, and memories of their time at Somaiya. The evening carried the same warmth and energy witnessed across earlier reunions—demonstrating once again that no matter where life takes us, we remain part of one community connected by values, purpose, and shared experiences.
Stories, Reflections & the Somaiya Vision
The event opened with a reflection on the Somaiya journey by Dr Abhishek Ghosh, Dean of the Faculty of Dharma Studies who talked about it’s evolution into a multidisciplinary ecosystem committed to education, research, sustainability, culture, and ethics.
The alumni voiced tremendous pride in Somaiya’s direction and a strong desire to contribute to its continued growth. Many highlighted the University’s evolving vision and emphasized opportunities to strengthen real-world learning so Somaiya can increasingly shape breakthroughs on the global stage. Across the board, alumni expressed enthusiasm for mentoring, volunteering, and supporting new initiatives, reaffirming a collective commitment to help Somaiya grow, innovate, and lead with purpose.
